L Linocut

A relief print made with a design that has been cut into linoleum. Lino-cut printing employs the same principles as woodcut printing, but linoleum is easier to cut and prints more evenly. The relief print image will be the reverse of the design that is cut into the linoleum. Pictured above is a lino-cut design created by Laura Neal.
